Gratitude Leads to a Healthier Life and Career

Displaying gratitude is something we take seriously around the Mela Group office. With the holiday season right around the corner, it’s a great time to reflect on why and how we make thankfulness a big part of our culture. By focusing on the good things in our lives, we keep ourselves inspired to perform at our best and reach major goals.

One of the best outcomes of embracing gratitude is the more positive mind-set it creates. We’ve found that our thoughts and feelings emerge from what we’re focusing on, so keeping our successes and future hopes in mind is the ideal approach. Every ambitious target seems within reach when we fix our thoughts on good things.

Speaking of fixing our thoughts on good things, we use meditation as a surefire gratitude booster. Just a few minutes of deep breathing are enough to center ourselves. During our most stressful days, meditating is the fastest way to get back on the right track.

We also use gratitude journals to remind ourselves of all the things worth celebrating. Just as we put our Mela Group goals in writing to make them feel more immediate, these journals help turn our accomplishments into major forms of inspiration.
